Don Bosco High School 9-12

Students enjoy an engaging, rigorous, and relevant curriculum at Don Bosco High School. Small class sizes facilitate active learning and provide a setting that encourages them to treat other with dignity, respect, and compassion. Our graduation rate is 100%.

The Bosco Catholic School System provides a wealth of opportunities for high school students to explore their academic interests and pursue the gifts that God has given them. In addition to required and elective courses here at Don Bosco, students may take classes through the following.

  • Waterloo Career Center
  • Hawkeye Community College
  • Mt. Mercy University
  • University of Northern Iowa

Our teaching team helps students pursue academic excellence by cultivating a strong work ethic, productive study habits, and effective time management skills. Students think critically and creatively to apply their knowledge both independently and collaboratively. We challenge our high school students to become life-long learners, preparing them for what lies ahead, whether they plan to enter college, join the work force, begin military service, or seek or a religious vocation upon graduation.

We are a Leader in Me School, helping students develop the soft skills they need for success in school and life. Leadership roles, athletics, fine arts, and other activities provide opportunities for students to explore their interests.

Bosco Catholic Schools is fully accredited and licensed by the State of Iowa, and our curriculum is aligned with the Archdiocese of Dubuque curriculum standards.
