A Message from Our Principal
Our Mission
With support from families, we respect and encourage students to reach their potential
- Spiritually by developing a strong relationship with Jesus and knowledge of His church,
- Academically by igniting learning, leadership and life skills,
- Physically by learning about and living healthy habits and
- Socially by becoming active members of the community who serve others as stewards of the Gospel so they are the light of Christ in the world.
A Message from Our Principal
I am so excited to welcome you to our website where you can get a feel for what makes the Bosco Catholic School System near and dear to so many hearts.
From the friendly staff and kind students to the life-changing Leader in Me curriculum and renowned sports programs, your children will flourish and grow into confident leaders in our faith-filled environment. Our caring preschool through grade 12 system, where we get to know our students so well, provides the support they need to reach their full potential. Students of all faiths are welcome here.
Iowa's new Education Savings accounts will make Catholic education a much easier choice for families, removing the financial hurdle of attending a private school like Immaculate Conception or Don Bosco. If your child is entering kindergarten or coming to us from a public school or homeschool program, a state-funded Education Savings Account will cover your child's tuition if you apply by the June 30 deadline of your enrollment year. Current students are being phased in by income eligibility in 2023 and 2024, and by 2025 all students will be phased in regardless of income. What a blessing for our families! Don't hesitate to let me know if you have any questions about affordability. Our goal is to make our top-notch Catholic education possible for all families who want this for their children.
I would love for you to join our Catholic school family. Use our Schedule a Tour form to let us know if you would like to visit or indicate if you'd like information or a phone call. I can also arrange for you to visit with a current parent if you'd like that perspective. You'll find our community to be so supportive and welcoming.
In Christ,
Shelby Douglas, K-12 Principal
