Faith

"On Fridays we spend time in the morning at church listening to the Gospel, singing, and learning about God. We feel good and it helps us respect each other and God's creations."  -Paisley Parker

As a Catholic faith community, the goal of the Bosco Catholic School System is the integral formation of the entire Christian youth--mind, body, and spirit. Our mission is to prepare students to be the "Light of Christ in the world." Faith is at the heart of everything we do all day long.

Our Christian community welcomes students of all faiths to receive an education guided by the word of God.

All-school Mass is held every Friday morning at 7:45 AM in the beautiful Immaculate Conception Church next door. Students take an active role in the Mass through prayer, song, and celebration of the Eucharist. Classes take turns helping with various liturgical ministries including reading, greeting, and bringing up the gifts. Father Diehm's homilies engage the minds and hearts of our youth, and we enjoy coming together as a group. We welcome parents, grandparents, parishioners, and friends to fill the pews with us.

Prayer services during Lent and Advent, First Friday Adoration, Stations of the Cross during Lent, and our Living Rosary in the spring help students develop a stronger and more personal relationship with God.

Faith Buddies pairs older students with younger ones for a variety of activities throughout the year. Younger students look up to their older friends who take their role model responsibilities to heart, helping to build our strong student community.

Annual class retreats allow dedicated time for students to grow in faith together outside of their regular religion time.

Daily prayer and our religion curriculum allow students the opportunity to celebrate their faith with their peers.
